倫敦「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，品牌代理公司BBH行銷手法被指責為「可恥且不人道」，最後不得不出面為「街友熱點」（Homeless Hotspots）構想提出辯駁。 街友熱點是在德州奧斯汀（Austin）SXSW音樂科技論壇上試行，給街友的酬勞是每15分鐘2美元。
